International Olympic Committee president Jacques Rogge called on China to peacefully resolve unrest in Tibet, piling further pressure on its communist rulers ahead of the Beijing Games.
Rogge was speaking in Beijing after chaos erupted during the London leg of the Olympic relay as protesters sought to highlight the Tibet crisis and other human rights controversies surrounding China.
