About 150 Tibetans and their supporters marched through central Perth in a demonstration against human rights abuses in Tibet by China.
The protest was part of a series of similar marches by Tibetans and their supporters around Australia protesting against China’s firm response to unrest in Tibet where 140 Tibetans had been confirmed dead and more than 1,000 arrested.
