CTA President and Education Kalon Calls on Secretary of HRD Ministry

DELHI: President of Central Tibetan Administration, Dr Lobsang Sangay and Education Kalon Ven Karma Gelek Yuthok today called on Shri Anil Swarup, Honorable Secretary, Department of School Education & Literacy, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.

In the meeting, President Dr Sangay sought the support of the HRD Secretary in the smooth transaction of the third-phase transfer of CTSA Schools.

In response, Secretary Anil Swarup offered his full support and assured that the third-phase transfer of the remaining schools of CTSA will be expedited at the earliest.

Secretary of Department of Education, Karma Singhe was also present at the meeting.

President Dr Lobsang Sangay had earlier remarked that the third phase of the transfer was especially significant because it marked the complete transfer of all the senior secondary schools in the Tibetan settlements.
