CTA President Embarks on a Six-Day Visit to Japan

Dharamsala: The President of Central Tibetan Administration Dr Lobsang Sangay left for Japan today, making this his fourth official visit to Japan. He visited Japan in 2012, 2016 and 2017.

Dr Sangay is scheduled to address the students and faculty of Reitaku University on “Tibet’s Tragedy and Future” on 18 February.

During his visit Dr Sangay will be meeting with Japanese parliamentarians and is scheduled to interact with various Japanese media agencies. He will also be giving public talks on various issues related to Tibet and the importance of Tibet on the global stage.

Upon completion of his six-day visit, Dr Sangay will be returning from Japan on 23 February.
