HYDERABAD: Finance Kalon Karma Yeshi inaugurated the first ever Entrepreneurship Summit (E-Summit) organised by SUMVN and NucleusTech at Marri Laxman Reddy Institution of Technology (MLR), Hyderabad on 21st August 2017. During the inaugural speech, Kalon Karma Yeshi highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship in the present scenario and its impact on the community, business ethics & moral responsibility. He also spoke about Indo-Tibetan relations since 1959.
After the inaugural session, Finance Kalon participated in a panel discussion on The Indian Ecosystem & Different Countries along with other panelists Josa Karre (Counsellor-Embassy of Sweden), Srinivas Kollipara (Founder & COO at T-Hub), Jukka Holappa (Commercial Counsellor – Head of India at Finpro). The panel discussion was moderated by Vanitha Datla (Chairperson at Confederation of Indian Industry).
Finance Kalon also visited T-Hub, one of India’s largest business incubator which is supported by the state government of Telangana.
On 22nd August 2017, Kalon met Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary of the Industries & Commerce (I&C) and Information Technology (IT) Departments of the Telangana government. The two of them discussed about CTA’s Tibetan Entrepreneurship Development (TED) Initiative.
Earlier on 20th August 2017, Finance Kalon met Men-Tse-Khang staff, college students and Tibetan entrepreneurs at the Men-Tse-Khang Hall in Hyderabad.
Finally on 24th August 2017, at the request of Tibetan Sweater Sellers in Mohalli, Finance Kalon met Shri Ravi Bhagat, Chief Administrator of Punjab Urban Development & Planning Authority at Mohalli, Punjab.
