His Holiness the Dalai Lama hails Tibetan Medicine as a unique service to mankind

Dharamshala: His Holiness the Dalai Lama spoke about the importance and benefits of Tibetan medicine practices during a meeting with executive members of Central Council of Tibetan Medicine this Monday.

At the meeting, His Holiness noted the immense contribution of Tibetan medicine in promoting holistic health and healing.

His Holiness hailed the tradition as a great service and a huge recognition of Tibetan medical tradition. He also noted the overwhelming trust and traction gained by the Sowa-Rigpa tradition among Tibetan and non-Tibetan communities.

“There are many people who come to see me and tells me that they have come to consult Tibetan medicine at MentseeKhang. So keep working hard,” he commended the members.

His Holiness also advised Mentseekhang to enhance the collaborations with other modern medicines including Ayurveda.
