DHARAMSHALA: The private Office of His Holiness the Dalai Lama launched new German and Italian language versions of its official website dalailama.com on 8 September. The new websites(de.dalailama.com and it.dalailama.com) were launched on the eve of His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s visit to Europe on 9 September.
The new sites add to those that already exist in the following languages – Tibetan, English, Hindi, Chinese, Japanese, Russian and Mongolian.
His Holiness also contributes to Facebook pages in the following languages – Tibetan, English, Hindi, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, Mongolian, German, Italian, French, Spanish and Vietnamese. His Holiness’s teachings and public talks are regularly broadcast via Facebook Live from around the world.
Other social media sites include Twitter, the English account for which has more than 14 million followers, Instagram and YouTube.
