The Tibet Information Office, Canberra to host a virtual panel discussion on the essence of His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s contributions to the future of Humanity on 5 September 2020.

Canberra: The Tibet Information Office, Canberra is hosting a virtual panel discussion on the essence of His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s contributions to the future of Humanity on 5 September 2020 from 3:30pm (AEST) Australia.

The event is being observed as part of the CTA’s yearlong celebration of ‘Year of Gratitude to His Holiness the Dalai Lama’.

The four panel speakers and their topics are Dr Ian Coghian on His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s contribution to future of humanity through dialogue between Buddhist Science and Modern Science; Dr Anna Alomes on His Holiness’ Social, Emotional and Ethical (SEE) learning initiative; Mr Gabriel Lafitte on His Holiness’ commitments with a focus on environment; and Mr Tony Steel will speak on Impacts of His Holiness’ global visits with a focus on Australia.

The discussion will be moderated by Lama Choedak Rinpoche, author, translator and spiritual director of Sakya Losel Choe Dzong, Tibetan Buddhist Society of Canberra.
