New Delhi: The official website of the Tibetan government-in-exile in India crashed on Friday 11 April due to hackers.
Tibet.net, built eight years ago is the online platform of the exile Tibetan government’s press releases, and official news reports. Tibetan government officials say they do not know who hacked into the website.
The Dalai Lama’s official website — www.dalailama.com — is safe.
Update, April 15 2008: tibet.net is back online
