OOT Washington Representative Visits Tibetan Buddhist Dharma Centers in California

CALIFORNIA: Representative Ngodup Tsering of the Office of Tibet based in Washington DC visited the various Tibetan Buddhist dharma centers in California on 14 April.

He visited Pal Tsechenling where he was welcomed by Khenpo Sonam Dhondup and other staff of the center in the morning around 10:00 AM.

At 11:00 am, he visited the Nechung dharma center where he was welcomed by Ven Ngawang Khenrab. Ven Ngawang Khenrab gave a brief introduction of the center. At 12:00 pm, he visited the Sera Jey dharma center where he was welcomed by Khenpo Lobsang and gave a brief introduction of the center.

At 01:00 pm, he visited the Gyuto dharma center where he was welcomed by Ven Tenzin Dhonyoe. He informed the representative about the Buddhist teachings and talks organised by the center.

Representative Ngodup Tsering, during his visits to the centers, expressed appreciation about the profound relationship shared by the Tibetan community in California with the dharma centers and urged them to continue the tradition.

Representative Ngodup Tsering was accompanied by Tenzin Rangdol, President of the Regional Tibetan Association along with Kunga Tashi and Tenzin Tsepak, the Chinese and Tibetan liaison officer respectively of OOT Washington DC.
